LETTER FROM THE CEO
of ANACAPA SURGICAL ASSOCIATES
ENTERING INTO A NEW YEAR: 2020
Life can be very full at times, especially during the holidays. As the year comes to a close and the New Year begins, it can be easy to lose sight of the things that are most important, particularly in our workplace. We are always so focused on our work and our patients that we barely have time to enjoy the Season.
As I go through the day I am comforted by the energy and consideration that surrounds me in everyone I work with. My workplace family. Everyday I see the kindness that each and everyone I work with share not just to each other, but everyone that the staff at ASA touches. And it is not just because of the Season, or the start of a new year. We all care about our partners, staff and patients year-round.
In the business of Healthcare I am reminded daily that Life happens. But I also know that attitude always finds a way.
In this issue we bring stories of how our surgeons and staff make a difference in the quality of life of others with not just skill, but because of their attitude. We all know that even in the changing of the tide as a new year rolls in, Life happens. What we do makes a difference to everyone in our care.
ASA is committed to bringing quality of life to our patients, and to our workplace. Just as importantly, we care for you, our readers, as we create the best possible content about the services we provide to the county and to you.
We thank you for taking the time to experience the winter 2019 issue of VHM, and to watch the videos we provide on the virtual version of our quarterly publication.
The entire Anacapa Surgical Associates team and the Ventura Health Magazine staff wish you a Healthy and happy New Year! And remember– Life happens so be safe out there!
Warm regards,
Ellie Kearns
